My Little Pony: Fluttershy

“Um… I’m.. Fluttershy…..”
“I’m sorry, what was that?”
“Umm… My name is, um, fluttershy…”
“Didn’t quite catch that.”

Yay~. Well, I suppose Fluttershy completes my set of 3d-ifying the 6 main cast of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Now to decide what I’m gonna do next. Obscure ponies? Spike? The Princesses? Buildings around Ponyville?

Amazing work with the mane cast! All the other 3D models I’ve seen haven’t captured the essence of what makes the characters the way they are. Not only do they look good from the side view, but all views! Once again, great job.

I’d like to know if the models will be avaliable to download. I’d love to start rigging and animating them, as I haven’t a clue on how to model or texture. Please contact me! No, I can’t pay or anything xD I’m just a 17 year-old looking for something to animate in 3ds Max. I’ll be taking a 1-week workshop this summer at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) on Animation, as my school has nothing left to teach me. Once I graduate next year, that’s where I’ll go and live my dream of animating for movies and games. Love to chat, you can contact me via my email. Hope to see you soon 😉

    • Thanks for your praise! I’ve heard great things about SCAD. :) I hate to disappoint you though, but I wouldn’t feel right distributing my models to third parties due to Hasbro copyright. I also consider these models to be part of my professional portfolio, so I’m hesitant to send them to others. I hope you understand. :)

      • (sorry for the super-late reply, I got busy and forgot about it!)
It’s alright, I understand. There are other models out there but sadly they aren’t rigged. I guess I could try my hand at rigging myself, but I feel that ponies must only be handled by professionals 😀

The model looks great, and as for copyright it only applies if profit is being made (I know because of games workshop who is fiercely protective of their titles)

I would really love it if you could give these out but, copyright has its rules. I would love to move them to MikuMikuDance and use them in practically all my videos. XD

  • I understand that you don’t want to send these models to anyone for now, but I really want to have lovely MLP models to mod a game. Can you please guide me how to make the models, specifically?

  • Exotic

    Very nice!

    I absolutely love these models!

Question though : where did you get the ref sheets ? I’ve looked EVERYWHERE for them and can’t find a solid place to look.
